Career Highlights
Joe earned his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane in 2001.  While in law school, Joe received the prestigious CALIaward for achieving the highest grade in the course on Article 9 (Secured Transactions) of the Uniform Commercial Code.  Joe earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Washington State University in Pullman in 1998.

Joe is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association, the Washington Associated of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Washington State Association for Justice.

Affiliations and Education
Joe is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Washington, including the Western and Eastern Districts of the United States District Court.  In addition, Joe is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Personal Background
Joe graduated from Highline High School in Burien, WA where he was voted “Most Outstanding Jazz Musician” for his performance on the trombone during his senior year.  Joe still lives in the South King County area with his wife and two children.  He still scratches his musical itch by playing lead guitar for his church’s ensemble.
