Education
Mike graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 2001, where he was an active student member of the Innocence Project Northwest nonprofit group representing falsely convicted prisoners. Mr. Kelly has a Master of Arts degree in German Literature from the University of Washington, and Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and German from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota.

Professional Associations
Mr. Kelly is an active member of the Washington State Bar Association and the King County Bar Assoication. Mr. Kelly remains very active with the Innocence Project Northwest, handling Habeas Corpus appeals for innocent prisoners on a pro bono basis.

Affiliations and Courts Admitted
He is admitted to practice in the state of Washington, the Federal Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
