VSF Wins Class Certification for Washington Consumers:

On July 13, 2009, King County Superior Court granted VSF’s motion for class certification against Farmer’s Insurance in a case involving allegations of bad faith by Farmer’s against Washington Consumers.  VSF will seek to recover damages for approximately 3,000 Washington consumers who had their PIP insurance benefits withheld, suspended or denied pending the outcome of a so called Independent Medical Exam by the insurance giant’s hired experts.  VSF is alleging that Farmer’s is improperly engaging in claim suppression tactics.  VSF attorneys Tyler Firkins and Le’a Kent are representing the class.
