Appeals
In Washington State courts, appeals are a way of challenging or reviewing a lower courts’ decision. If you are unsatisfied with what a Judge or Jury did in your case, and a mistake was likely made, then you often have the right to appeal that to a higher court. If your attorney believes that there are grounds for an appeal, then you should usually file an appeal immediately after the decision that is adverse to you.
