Career Highlights

Rebecca is a powerful advocate for her clients, especially those who are injured and/or vulnerable. She recently helped a grandfather get custody of his 3 year old grandson, who was suffering at the hands of his parents’ neglect and abuse. This was a complex case with high emotions.

Personal Background

Before law school, Rebecca was a union steward who represented workers and defended their rights. In law school, Rebecca participated in mediation competitions and mock trials. Additionally, during law school, Rebecca worked for a personal injury firm that specialized in plaintiff’s work. Rebecca worked on difficult criminal and civil cases, which involved obtaining restitution and money damages for victims of child pornography, including against people charged with possession, distribution, and receipt of child sexual abuse material. Rebecca has also worked on medical malpractice, employment, and negligence cases.

Rebecca lives in Seattle and spends her free time hiking, cross country skiing, kayaking, yoga, meditating, painting, and listening to jazz music with her 3½-pound Chihuahua, Maxwell.
